Anker Engelundsvej Station is a short walk from the main entrance to the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), one of Europe’s leading technical universities. Around 12,000 students and 6,000 staff use the campus each day. The Light Rail connects DTU with the shops, cafés and cultural attractions of Lyngby town centre, as well as six S-train stations and the suburbs to the west and south of Copenhagen.

Atheneskolen, an independent school for highly gifted children, is around 700 metres from the station. Lyngby Idrætsby, home to a football stadium, swimming pool and tennis courts, is just over one kilometre away on foot, along with several large residential neighbourhoods..
Maintenance works may require partial or full closure of the Light Rail for a period to ensure works can be carried out safely. When possible, works are scheduled during the evening and night to minimise disruption to passengers.
There may also be more significant or longer-lasting service changes due to unexpected operational incidents, obstructing the Light Rail services on part or all of the route for a period of time.
In such cases, replacement bus services will be provided. However, passengers should expect longer journey times when using replacement buses compared with the Light Rail.
On the map, you can see where to find the replacement bus stop at your station.
