The Light Rail station at Herlev Station provides connections to other forms of public transport. At this transport hub, passengers can interchange between the Light Rail and S-trains. S-train Line C runs between Frederikssund Station and Klampenborg Station via Copenhagen Central Station.

Take the bus when we maintain the Light Rail
Maintenance works may require partial or full closure of the Light Rail for a period to ensure works can be carried out safely. When possible, works are scheduled during the evening and night to minimise disruption to passengers.
There may also be more significant or longer-lasting service changes due to unexpected operational incidents, obstructing the Light Rail services on part or all of the route for a period of time.
In such cases, replacement bus services will be provided. However, passengers should expect longer journey times when using replacement buses compared with the Light Rail.
