Find your way to the station

The light rail station Ishøj Strand – ARKEN is located along Ishøj Strandvej and is within walking and cycling distance of, among other things, the sports center, the beach park, the marina, and the ARKEN art museum. In the open square by the station, visitors can experience a series of new artworks created especially for the new light rail station in collaboration with the New Carlsberg Foundation.

Take the bus when we maintain the Light Rail

Maintenance works may require partial or full closure of the Light Rail for a period to ensure works can be carried out safely. When possible, works are scheduled during the evening and night to minimise disruption to passengers.

There may also be more significant or longer-lasting service changes due to unexpected operational incidents, obstructing the Light Rail services on part or all of the route for a period of time.

In such cases, replacement bus services will be provided. However, passengers should expect longer journey times when using replacement buses compared with the Light Rail.
