The Light Rail station is located on Gladsaxe Ringvej between the Kagså neighbourhood to the north and Mørkhøj business district to the south. Kagså is primarily a residential area with allotment gardens, but is also home to Gladsaxe Fort and Kagså Kollegiet. Mørkhøj business district is home to around 130 businesses, including several car dealerships and builders’ merchants. The municipality’s recycling centre is also located in the area.

Maintenance works may require partial or full closure of the Light Rail for a period to ensure works can be carried out safely. When possible, works are scheduled during the evening and night to minimise disruption to passengers.
There may also be more significant or longer-lasting service changes due to unexpected operational incidents, obstructing the Light Rail services on part or all of the route for a period of time.
In such cases, replacement bus services will be provided. However, passengers should expect longer journey times when using replacement buses compared with the Light Rail.
