Vallensbæk
Vallensbæk Station is one of the five key hubs where commuters can transfer between The Greater Copenhagen Light Rail and the S-train, and vice versa. It offers a connection to one of the busiest S-train lines, the Køge Bugt Line, and passengers can also catch a bus from here. Vallensbæk Station thus becomes an important hub in public transport.

Find your way to the station
Stationstorvet offers great shopping opportunities, whether you want to pick up fresh bread for breakfast or dinner on the way, browse the local shops, or fit in your weekly workout. The town center between the railway and Vallensbæk Town Hall has just been renovated in connection with the opening of the light rail, and now appears as a green and modern urban space, ready for city festivals, play, or simply a quiet break on your way.
Take the bus when we maintain the Light Rail
Maintenance works may require partial or full closure of the Light Rail for a period to ensure works can be carried out safely. When possible, works are scheduled during the evening and night to minimise disruption to passengers.
There may also be more significant or longer-lasting service changes due to unexpected operational incidents, obstructing the Light Rail services on part or all of the route for a period of time.
In such cases, replacement bus services will be provided. However, passengers should expect longer journey times when using replacement buses compared with the Light Rail.
