The Greater Copenhagen Light Rail station is located right on the border between Albertslund and Glostrup Municipality, next to the new Hersted district, which is rapidly developing. From a former classic industrial park, it is now growing into a vibrant neighborhood with residential areas, educational institutions, and businesses.

Find your way to the station
With Vestskoven and the Herstedhøje Nature Center as neighbors, the area offers abundant opportunities for nature experiences. Herstedhøje is a 67-meter-high hill that provides a fantastic view. On clear days, you can see Roskilde Cathedral, Stevns Klint, and the towers of Copenhagen.
Take the bus when we maintain the Light Rail
Maintenance works may require partial or full closure of the Light Rail for a period to ensure works can be carried out safely. When possible, works are scheduled during the evening and night to minimise disruption to passengers.
There may also be more significant or longer-lasting service changes due to unexpected operational incidents, obstructing the Light Rail services on part or all of the route for a period of time.
In such cases, replacement bus services will be provided. However, passengers should expect longer journey times when using replacement buses compared with the Light Rail.
