Test Run of the Light Rail
Test runs on the Light Rail begin from spring 2025
We’re running train tests on the section from Ishøj Station to just before the Lyskær junction in Buddinge.
Along this stretch, you may see the Light Rail in action. As we move towards opening the southern section, more and more trains will gradually appear on the tracks.
A we are now testing trains in real conditions, there are a few important safety points to be aware of.
Since February 2025, the overhead lines along the test section have been live.
We have switched on the power in full compliance with all regulations and safety procedures, but it’s still important to be careful when you’re near the Light Rail. Here are some good safety tips to follow when travelling or moving around the route.
