Test runs on the Light Rail beginning spring 2026
From March 2026, test runs of the light rail trains will take place on the section between Rødovre Nord and Lundtofte.
During this period, trains will be operating along the route and you can encounter them on the tracks. More trains will gradually be introduced as testing progresses in the lead-up to the opening of the full line in summer 2026.
Please stay alert and be aware of the new element in traffic:
Look carefully before crossing
Follow signs and traffic signals
Do not enter the tracks
Remove headphones when crossing
Follow the traffic rules
From February 2026, the overhead lines will be live on sections where test running is taking place.
The power is switched on in accordance with all regulations and safety procedures. However, please take care when travelling near the light rail and follow the safety guidance in the area.
