Bikes, scooters and prams

Take bikes and scooters on the Metro

Rules for bikes

You can bring your bicycle for free on the Light Rail. The bicycle must be secured using the strap in the train's flex areas. The flex areas are marked on the train doors. Please note that there is space for one wheelchair/pram or two bicycles in each flex area. Cargo bikes are not allowed.

Rules for prams, strollers and pushchairs in the Metro

You can take 2 children under 12 years old for free on your own ticket. Children travelling with you for free are allowed in prams, strollers or pushchairs if space permits.

The Light Rail is designed with flex areas for prams that have to share space with wheelchairs, bicycles, scooters and large luggage.
